Network Attacked Storage (NAS) refers to a dedicated file-level computer data storage server connected to a computer network providing data access to a heterogeneous group of clients. It provides a centralized repository for data, simplifying management and increasing accessibility. Typically, NAS devices are accessed through a standard Ethernet connection and support common protocols such as NFS, SMB/CIFS, or AFP.
