Wireless Access Points
Wireless Access Points (WAPs) are electronic devices that enable wireless connectivity within computer networks, particularly in the categories of Computers and Computer Accessories. They facilitate data transfer and communication between devices without the need for physical cables or wires. WAPs serve as intermediaries between wireless devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets, and wired networks, extending network coverage and enabling seamless connectivity. In essence, they act as a bridge, converting wired network signals into wireless signals and vice versa. As part of Data Storage Devices, WAPs can also facilitate remote access to stored data, making it accessible from any location within the network's range.
