Definition of Quantum Physics as it relates to Science, Physics, Kinetic Theory

Quantum Physics is the branch of physics dealing with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta as described by quantum theory. It explores phenomena on a very small scale, such as molecules, atoms, and even smaller particles like electrons, protons, and photons. Quantum Physics introduces unique concepts like superposition, entanglement, and wave-particle duality that challenge classical physics notions. This field is closely related to Kinetic Theory, which studies the behavior of gases, by providing a foundation for understanding how particles interact on a quantum level, leading to innovations in technology and materials science.
