Educational Assessment
Educational Assessment is the systematic process of collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to understand a learner's knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes in relation to educational standards, goals, or objectives. It encompasses various techniques such as formal testing, observations, interviews, and review of portfolios. The primary purpose is to inform instructional decisions, guide curriculum development, evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, and support career counseling. Educational Assessment plays a critical role in Vocational Education by helping learners identify their strengths, interests, and potential career paths, and providing educators with information to design and deliver relevant and effective training programs.
