They are apex predators, feeding on fish, seals, sea lions, and even large whales. Orcas live in complex matriarchal societies, with family groups called pods. Their communication skills include a range of vocalizations and body movements, which they use for hunting, social bonding, and navigation. Orcas are known for their intelligence, curiosity, and adaptability, making them fascinating subjects for scientific research and conservation efforts.
