Deep Learning

Definition of Deep Learning as it relates to Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Networks, Computer Science

Deep Learning, as part of Computer Science, is a subset of Artificial Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence within Technology, focuses on algorithms that mimic the workings of the human brain to learn from large amounts of data. It goes beyond traditional machine learning in its ability to automatically learn hierarchical feature representations from raw data, making it particularly useful for tasks such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing, and game playing. Deep Learning models can identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, providing insights that would be difficult or impossible to achieve through manual analysis. As a result, it has become an essential tool in many fields, including computer vision, robotics, healthcare, finance, and social media analysis.
