Deep Learning, as part of the Machine Learning Methods hierarchy, can be described as a subset of algorithms in artificial intelligence inspired by the structure and function of the human brain called artificial neural networks. These networks are designed to learn from data through a process that mimics the way a brain operates. They are composed of interconnected nodes or "neurons" and are capable of learning and improving from experience. Deep Learning models, which are a type of neural network with many layers, have shown remarkable results in solving complex tasks such as image recognition, speech recognition, and natural language processing.
