Computer Vision

Definition of Computer Vision as it relates to Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Technology Artificial Intelligence

Computer Vision refers to the scientific discipline of enabling computers to interpret and understand visual information from the world, much like human vision does. It's concerned with how to extract meaningful insights from images and videos, and its applications are vast, ranging from facial recognition to autonomous driving. As a part of Artificial Intelligence within Technology, Computer Vision plays a crucial role in making machines more intelligent and autonomous by allowing them to perceive and interact with their surroundings in a more human-like way. It's the technology that powers image recognition systems, medical imaging analysis, augmented reality applications, and much more, thus bridging the gap between the digital world and the physical world.
