Nucleus

The nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle found in eukaryotic cells that contains the cell's genetic material, including DNA and RNA. It is typically the largest organelle within the cell and serves as the control center, regulating gene expression and cell activities. The nucleus is surrounded by a double membrane called the nuclear envelope, which contains pores that allow for the exchange of materials between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Additionally, the nucleus contains a dense region called the nucleolus, which is involved in the production of ribosomes.
