Nucleus Structure
The nucleus structure refers to the organization and composition of the central organelle found in eukaryotic cells. It is typically spherical in shape and contains genetic material in the form of DNA, which is organized into chromosomes. The nucleus is surrounded by a double membrane known as the nuclear envelope, which contains pores that allow for the passage of molecules in and out of the nucleus. Within the nucleus, there is a dense region called the nucleolus, which is involved in the production of ribosomes. The overall structure of the nucleus plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and controlling cell functions.
