Cellular Biology Cell Nucleus

The cell nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle found in eukaryotic cells. It contains the cell's genetic material, in the form of DNA, organized into structures called chromosomes. The nucleus is responsible for regulating gene expression, DNA replication, and cell division. It also houses the nucleolus, a region where ribosomal RNA synthesis takes place. The nucleus plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and function of the cell, as it controls the activities of the cell by regulating the transcription of genes and the production of proteins.
