Nucleuses

Nucleuses are membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotic cells that contain the cell's genetic material, DNA. They are responsible for regulating gene expression, cell growth, and cell division. Nucleuses typically have a distinct spherical shape and are surrounded by a double membrane called the nuclear envelope. Inside the nucleus, DNA is organized into structures called chromosomes, which play a crucial role in the transmission of genetic information during cell division. Additionally, nucleuses contain nucleoli, which are involved in the synthesis of ribosomes.
