Arthropoda
Arthropoda, as a part of Liocranidae and falling under the larger categories of Animals, Arachnids, Amblypygi, and Harvestmen, is characterized by its segmented body and jointed appendages. Members of this group possess a hard exoskeleton, which serves as protection and provides structural support for their bodies. The body is divided into two main parts: the cephalothorax, which contains the head and thorax, and the abdomen. Arthropods also have specialized appendages that are adapted for a variety of functions such as locomotion, feeding, and sensory perception. Additionally, they possess a complex nervous system and open circulatory system, which allows them to efficiently transport nutrients throughout their bodies. The group is incredibly diverse, with representatives found in nearly every terrestrial and aquatic habitat on Earth.
