Neopaganism

Definition of Neopaganism as it relates to Religions, Atheism, Deism

Neopaganism, as a spiritual movement, emphasizes polytheism, pantheism, and nature worship, often incorporating elements from ancient religions and modern ecological consciousness. It can coexist with deistic beliefs, which hold that a higher power created the universe but does not intervene in its affairs. While Neopaganism diverges from atheism's rejection of the existence of gods and Religion's more institutionalized structures, it shares with them an exploration of meaning-making systems and the human relationship to the divine or natural world.
