Shinto

Definition of Shinto as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Judaism

Shinto, as a part of the Religions/Judaism hierarchy, encompasses the indigenous spirituality and practices of Japan. It emphasizes the sacredness of natural phenomena, deities known as kami, and the importance of rituals to maintain harmony between humans and the divine. While distinct from Judaism, it shares with other religions a focus on reverence for a higher power and the pursuit of spiritual growth. In relation to Agnosticism, Shinto offers an alternative perspective, embracing belief in multiple deities and a close connection between the human experience and the divine.
