Calculus
Calculus, as part of Discrete Mathematics within the Science and Mathematics fields, is the study of change and motion, specifically focusing on rates of change and accumulation of quantities. It is divided into two main branches: differential calculus, which deals with the concept of a derivative to describe rates of change and slopes of curves; and integral calculus, which involves the concept of an integral to compute areas, volumes, and quantities that accumulate over time or along curves. Calculus has wide applications in physics, engineering, economics, computer science, statistics, and many other fields. It provides a mathematical framework for modeling and understanding diverse phenomena, enabling us to analyze and solve complex problems in these domains.
