Earth Science
Definition of Earth Science as it relates to Science, Environmental Science, Biogeochemistry
Earth Science, as part of Biogeochemistry in the Environmental Science field of Science, focuses on the processes and phenomena that shape our planet. This includes the study of Earth's materials, such as rocks and minerals, as well as the natural cycles and systems that govern the movement of energy and matter through the Earth's crust, oceans, and atmosphere. Research in this area seeks to understand how these processes have evolved over time and how they interact with one another to create the complex and dynamic system we call Earth.
