Elementary Education
Elementary Education encompasses the initial stage of formal learning, typically covering grades kindergarten through five or six. It focuses on foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and science, as well as social studies and arts education. Home Economics Education may be incorporated into elementary curricula to teach practical life skills such as cooking, sewing, budgeting, and household management. Educational Assessment is an integral part of Elementary Education, used to measure student learning, inform instructional decisions, and evaluate program effectiveness. The goal of Elementary Education is to provide a solid academic and social foundation for students, preparing them for success in future educational endeavors.
