Incident Management
Identity and Access Management (IAM) refers to the practices, policies, and technologies used to manage digital identities and access permissions within an organization. It encompasses the entire lifecycle of user and device identities, from creation and assignment, through ongoing management and monitoring, to eventual deprovisioning. IAM is concerned with ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information and resources, while simultaneously enabling convenient and secure access for legitimate users. As such, IAM plays a critical role in business risk management, information security management, and overall organizational security posture.
