Business Ethics
Stakeholder Engagement refers to the process by which an organization proactively interacts and communicates with its stakeholders, including but not limited to shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, regulators, and the broader community, in order to understand their interests, expectations, and concerns and to build trust, manage risk, and create shared value. It encompasses a range of activities such as public relations, financial public relations, and strategic communication, which aim to foster positive relationships with stakeholders through transparent, accurate, and timely information sharing and dialogue. Ultimately, effective stakeholder engagement can enhance an organization's reputation, credibility, and sustainability by aligning its goals and actions with the needs and values of its key stakeholders.
