Organizational Change
Organizational Behavior (OB) is a field of study that investigates the impact individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within organizations for the purpose of applying such knowledge toward improving an organization's effectiveness. It involves understanding, predicting, and managing people's behaviors in an organizational environment. OB draws from various disciplines including psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and economics. Its primary focus is on micro-level issues, such as attitudes, communication, leadership, motivation, team dynamics, and organizational culture. It aims to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for managing and leading people in organizations, making it an essential component of business, human resource management, and marketing studies.
