Suprematism
Suprematism is an abstract art movement developed by Russian artist Kazimir Malevich in the early 20th century. Characterized by geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles, and circles, as well as a limited color palette of black, white, and primary colors, Suprematism aimed to express the purity and essence of art through non-objective forms. Influenced by ideas of spiritualism and the search for the "supreme reality," Suprematism sought to transcend the physical world and create art that existed independently of visual references.
