Suprematism Art
Suprematism Art is a modern art movement developed by Russian artist Kazimir Malevich in the early 20th century. It is characterized by geometric shapes, particularly squares, rectangles, and circles, painted in a limited range of colors on a white background. Suprematist artists sought to convey pure artistic expression and emotion through abstract forms, rejecting representational imagery and focusing on the fundamental elements of art such as shape, color, and composition. The movement is considered one of the first purely abstract art movements in the history of Western art.
