Sea Turtles
Sea turtles are marine reptiles that can be found in oceans around the world. They are characterized by their large size, streamlined bodies, and flippers that help them navigate through the water. Sea turtles are known for their long migrations, with some species traveling thousands of miles between their feeding and nesting grounds. These majestic creatures play a vital role in maintaining the health of marine ecosystems by controlling populations of jellyfish and other prey species. Despite their importance, sea turtles face numerous threats from human activities, including habitat destruction, pollution, and bycatch in fishing gear. Conservation efforts are underway to protect these endangered animals and ensure their survival for future generations.
