Killer Whale
A large, powerful marine mammal with distinctive black and white coloring, a prominent dorsal fin, and sharp teeth. Known for its intelligence, social behavior, and exceptional hunting abilities, the killer whale, or orca, is a top predator in the ocean, preying on a variety of marine animals including fish, seals, and even other whales. They are highly vocal, using a complex system of clicks, whistles, and calls to communicate and coordinate with their pod members. Killer whales are found in oceans around the world, typically traveling in family groups called pods.
