Planetary Science
Planetary Science is the scientific study of celestial bodies outside of Earth's atmosphere, including planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and other related objects. This field draws on knowledge from various parent categories such as Chemistry, Geology, and Physical Science to understand the composition, structure, formation, and evolution of these cosmic bodies. Researchers in this field use a combination of observational data, laboratory experiments, and theoretical modeling to investigate the properties and behaviors of planetary systems. Planetary Science encompasses a wide range of sub-disciplines, such as comparative planetology, exoplanetology, and astrobiology, which aim to deepen our understanding of the universe and its diverse celestial bodies. Ultimately, this field seeks to answer fundamental questions about the nature of the cosmos and our place within it.
