Green Tree Frog
The Green Tree Frog is a small, bright green frog species known for their arboreal lifestyle. They are characterized by their distinct white or yellow stripes running down their sides and a white spot under each eye. These nocturnal creatures have large, sticky toe pads that allow them to climb smooth surfaces easily. Green Tree Frogs primarily inhabit warm, humid environments such as rainforests, swamps, and woodlands in the southeastern United States, Central America, and some parts of South America. They are highly adaptable and can also be found in suburban areas with suitable vegetation and water sources. As part of the Tree Frog family, Green Tree Frogs belong to the Amphibians class under the Animals kingdom. Within this hierarchy, they represent a specific species of frog that spends much of its life in trees, making them unique within their broader categories. Their distinct features and habitat preferences distinguish them from other members of the Frog family while maintaining close ties to their classification as Tree Frogs.
