Definition of Bodhisattvas as it relates to Religions, Taoism, Beliefs

Bodhisattvas are beings who have attained enlightenment but postpone entering nirvana to help others achieve enlightenment as well. In Taoism, Bodhisattvas are often considered compassionate beings who embody the virtues of selflessness and wisdom, working tirelessly to assist all sentient beings on their path towards enlightenment.
