Bodhisattvas
Bodhisattvas are beings who have attained enlightenment but choose to delay their own entry into Nirvana in order to help others achieve liberation from suffering. They are revered figures in Mahayana Buddhism and are seen as compassionate guides and teachers who embody the virtues of wisdom, generosity, and selflessness. Bodhisattvas are believed to possess supernatural powers and are often depicted in art and sculpture wearing elaborate robes and adorned with symbols of their enlightenment.
