Wicca

Definition of Wicca as it relates to Religions, Pantheism, Mormonism

Wicca, as part of the "Religions/Mormonism" hierarchy, is a contemporary pagan religion focused on nature and the worship of a divine feminine figure known as the Goddess. It also recognizes a masculine deity, the Horned God, and emphasizes the balance between the two. Wiccan beliefs and practices often include elements of animism, polytheism, and reverence for the natural world. While Wicca is distinct from Mormonism and Pantheism, it shares with them a commitment to spiritual exploration and personal connection with the divine. Practitioners of Wicca observe seasonal cycles through rituals and celebrations known as Sabbats, and may engage in various forms of magic or energy work. The religion encourages individual responsibility, ethical behavior, and respect for all living things, promoting a worldview that is both ecological and holistic.
