Womens Studies
Women's Studies is an interdisciplinary field that critically examines gender, power, and representation in relation to women's experiences. Focusing on literature, Women's Studies explores the ways in which women have been portrayed and have expressed themselves through written works, both within specific cultural contexts and globally. This may include analyzing the representation of women in canonical literature, as well as amplifying marginalized voices and perspectives through the study of diverse literary traditions. By examining literature through a gendered lens, Women's Studies seeks to challenge dominant narratives, interrogate systems of oppression, and promote social justice.
