Womens Studies
Women's Studies is an interdisciplinary field of academic inquiry that examines the historical, social, cultural, and political experiences of women from diverse backgrounds. It critically analyzes gender as a social construct and its intersectionality with race, class, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, and other identity markers. Women's Studies explores the ways in which gender shapes education, including religious education, and university education, with an emphasis on women's access to, participation in, and experiences of these educational systems. This field promotes critical thinking, social justice, and feminist praxis, empowering students to become agents of change and contributing to the creation of more equitable and inclusive societies.
