Special Education Services
Special Education Services refers to supportive educational programs and resources designed for students with physical, cognitive, intellectual, emotional, and/or learning disabilities that require individualized attention beyond what is typically provided in a traditional primary education setting. These services aim to ensure equal access to quality education by addressing each student's unique needs, helping them develop their skills, abilities, and potential, and promoting their social, academic, and behavioral development. Special Education Services may include specialized instruction, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, assistive technology, and other accommodations that enable students to participate fully in primary school policies and activities while meeting the educational standards set forth by local, state, and national authorities.
