Public Health Education
Public Health Education refers to the systematic process of instilling knowledge and skills necessary to prevent diseases, promote health, and improve overall community well-being. It encompasses a broad range of educational activities that aim to empower individuals, communities, and populations with evidence-based information and tools to make informed decisions about their health. Public Health Education is interdisciplinary, drawing from fields such as education, epidemiology, sociology, psychology, and communication. Its ultimate goal is to create a culture of health where individuals and communities are equipped to take charge of their health outcomes and contribute to a healthier society.
