Installation Art
Folk Art refers to a form of visual art that is rooted in traditional culture, passed down through generations, and often created for utilitarian purposes rather than purely aesthetic ones. It is characterized by its use of bold colors, simple shapes, and naive or primitive style, which often reflects the values, beliefs, and experiences of the community in which it was created. Folk Art is typically created by self-taught artists who draw upon their cultural heritage and personal experiences to create unique and expressive works of art. It encompasses a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, textiles, and decorative arts, and can be found in many different cultural contexts around the world. While it may share some similarities with other forms of art, such as Pop Art or Contemporary Pop, Folk Art is distinct in its emphasis on traditional culture, community, and personal expression.
