Dada

Definition of Dada as it relates to Art, Conceptual Art, Surrealism

Abstract Art is a non-representational form of art that does not depict physical objects or scenes from the visible world, instead it explores and conveys concepts, emotions, and perceptions through the use of color, shape, line, texture, and composition. It encourages viewers to engage their imagination, perception and interpretation, rather than merely recognizing a depicted reality. Abstract art can be seen as an extension or evolution of surrealism and conceptual art which also challenge traditional representation of reality.
