The Exquisite Corpse is an imaginative and collaborative art form originating from the Surrealist movement, which encourages artists to create unique and unexpected compositions through the blending of individual expressions. This creative process involves participants contributing distinct elements or sections of a piece, often without knowledge of what has been previously created, resulting in a harmonious and unpredictable whole that transcends individual contributions. In this way, the Exquisite Corpse embodies the spirit of Surrealism by challenging conventional notions of art and encouraging artists to explore the realms of chance, intuition, and subconscious thought.
