Aquatic Animals
Aquatic Animals are creatures that inhabit bodies of water, ranging from freshwater sources like rivers and lakes, to saltwater environments such as oceans and seas. These animals have adapted to live in aquatic habitats, exhibiting unique features and behaviors that enable them to thrive in their specific environments. Aquatic mammals, a subset of aquatic animals, are warm-blooded creatures that nurse their young with milk. Dolphins are an excellent example of aquatic mammals. They possess several adaptations for living in water, such as streamlined bodies, flippers for steering and maneuvering, and a blowhole on top of their head for breathing air at the surface.
