Tiantai Buddhism

Tiantai Buddhism is a Chinese school of Mahayana Buddhism that was founded by the Chinese monk Zhiyi in the 6th century. It is known for its emphasis on the Lotus Sutra and the concept of "three thousand realms in a single moment of thought." Tiantai teachings focus on the idea of the interconnectedness of all phenomena and the importance of meditation and mindfulness in achieving enlightenment. The school also incorporates elements of Taoism and Confucianism, making it a unique blend of Chinese philosophical traditions.
