Starfish are marine animals that belong to the phylum Echinodermata. They typically have a central disc and five arms, although some species may have more arms. Starfish are known for their ability to regenerate lost limbs and can also reproduce asexually. They are found in oceans around the world and come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Starfish are carnivorous and feed on a diet of mollusks, crustaceans, and other small marine animals.
