Sideband

Sideband refers to the band of frequencies that are produced when a modulating signal is added to a carrier signal in communication systems. These frequencies are located on either side of the carrier frequency and are used to carry information in various forms of modulation such as amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM). Sidebands play a crucial role in signal processing and transmission, allowing for the efficient transfer of data over long distances.
