Sidebands

Sidebands refer to the frequencies that are produced when a carrier signal is modulated by a lower or higher frequency signal. They are additional bands of frequencies that appear on either side of the original carrier frequency in a modulated signal. Sidebands are crucial in communication systems as they contain the actual information being transmitted. They are commonly used in radio, television, and telecommunications to convey audio, video, and data signals.
