Security Operations Center

A Security Operations Center (SOC) is a centralized facility within an organization that is responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents. SOC teams are comprised of cybersecurity professionals who utilize a combination of technology, processes, and procedures to protect the organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. This includes continuous monitoring of network traffic, analyzing security alerts, investigating potential security incidents, and coordinating incident response efforts. The primary goal of a SOC is to proactively identify and mitigate security risks to prevent data breaches, unauthorized access, and other cyber attacks.
