Rainforests

Rainforests are dense forests characterized by high levels of rainfall and humidity, typically found in tropical regions near the equator. These ecosystems are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, many of which are unique to these habitats. The canopy of a rainforest is typically so thick that very little sunlight reaches the forest floor, creating a dark and humid environment. Rainforests play a crucial role in maintaining global biodiversity and regulating the Earth's climate.
