Tropical rainforests are lush, biodiverse environments found primarily near the equator. They harbor an incredible array of plant and animal life, many of which are not found anywhere else on Earth. In terms of Travel Photography, these habitats offer ample opportunities to capture striking images of unique flora and fauna, as well as dramatic landscapes and waterfalls. For geographic features specifically, rainforests can be characterized by their dense vegetation, steep terrain, and complex river systems. As part of the Geographic Features hierarchy in Travel and Travel Photography, Rainforests provide a rich, engaging topic to explore through imagery and description.
