Palpigradi
Palpigradi, also known as microwhip scorpions, are a group of tiny arachnids characterized by their elongated bodies and whip-like antennae. They are found in soil and leaf litter in tropical and subtropical regions worldwide. Palpigradi are voracious predators, feeding primarily on small invertebrates. Despite their superficial resemblance to scorpions, they lack venom glands and stingers. These creatures are considered to be one of the most ancient groups of arachnids, with a fossil record dating back over 400 million years.
