Neutron Stars

Neutron stars are incredibly dense celestial objects that are formed when massive stars undergo a supernova explosion. They are composed almost entirely of neutrons, with a mass greater than that of the sun packed into a sphere only a few kilometers in diameter. Neutron stars possess extremely strong gravitational fields and magnetic fields, spinning rapidly and emitting beams of radiation that can be observed as pulsars from Earth. These exotic stellar remnants are some of the most fascinating and extreme objects in the universe.
