Neptune

Neptune is the eighth and farthest known planet from the Sun in the Solar System. It is a gas giant with a blue hue due to the presence of methane in its atmosphere. Neptune has a system of rings and a total of 14 known moons, the largest of which is Triton. It is named after the Roman god of the sea and is known for its extreme winds and storms, including the Great Dark Spot. Neptune has a rocky core surrounded by a thick layer of icy materials and a mantle of water, ammonia, and methane.
