Micelle

A micelle is a spherical structure formed by the aggregation of surfactant molecules in a solution. The hydrophobic tails of the surfactant molecules are oriented towards the center of the micelle, while the hydrophilic heads are oriented towards the outer surface. Micelles are commonly found in detergents and soaps, where they help to solubilize and remove dirt and oil from surfaces. Additionally, micelles play a crucial role in biological processes such as the absorption of fats and nutrients in the digestive system.
