Lemur Species
Lemur species are a diverse group of primates found only on the island of Madagascar and the Comoros Islands. They are characterized by their large, round eyes, furry bodies, and long tails. Lemurs come in a variety of sizes, from the tiny mouse lemur to the larger indri. They are known for their agility in trees and their unique vocalizations, which range from eerie wails to melodic songs. Lemurs are also known for their complex social structures, with some species living in large groups led by dominant females.
